New NPDES Permit
As of September 2nd 2009 the new California NPDES Permit (National Pollutant Discharge Ellimination System. What does this mean to you? The new Permit (Adopted Order 2009-0009-DWQ ) will go into effect July 1st 2010. The changes will provide new requirements for qualified individuals for SWPPP development and Inspection. It will require mandatory training and testing of both SWPPP Developers and Implementors. It will also require electronic filing of both the NOI and the SWPPP, as well as Water Sampling & Analysis.
